About the Program

NWYAS manages 14 properties (1 and 2 bedroom units and townhouses) which are provided through assistance from the Department of Housing and Public Works. We use these properties to run our Housing Support Program.

How Does The Accommodation Work?

Young people enter into a Residential Tenancy Agreement, conditions of this agreement include:
**If a young person has no income, they are encouraged to contact us to discuss their situation.
Our accommodation is furnished with the basic necessities such as: Fridge, washing machine, bed, couch, dining table and chairs, TV unit and microwave. We do not provide televisions.

  1. Call us on (07) 3855 5233 to talk to a Case Worker about our program in more detail;
  2. Complete a phone referral with a Case Worker
  3. Check in with us regularly to keep us informed on your housing situation and your contact details up to date
